Mr. Muhammad has extensive experience establishing and supporting grassroots organizations to support community activities by developing and maintaining cooperative relationships with residents, community leaders, government officials and members of the business community.
He has leveraged public-sector and private-sector financing to make a positive impact on local communities. Mr. Muhammad has served as an Advisory Neighborhood Commissioner; a Counselor with Mid-Atlantic Prison Reform Ministry; a member of the United States Air Force Reserve; and a small business owner/entrepreneur. His professional objectives are driven by his ability to foster trust, establish credibility and build cohesive teams from among people with diverse backgrounds, talents and perspectives.
He has a career of professional achievements that have are characterized by creative and proactive leadership with an entrepreneurial spirit. Mr. Muhammad is a graduate of the University of the District of Columbia and earned a Certificate of Excellence in Public Leadership from District of Columbia Neighborhood College-George Washington University.
