Administrative Issuances

Taxicab operators are advised that Administrative Issuances (AIs) interpret and provide guidance for compliance with certain regulations. Current AIs authorize the programming of the dome light to allow it to display a “Call 911” message; clarifies the approval process for Payment Service Providers; and requires the placement on vehicles of decals for bicycle safety, taximeter certification, rate card and seatbelt use. All decals are available for free from DCTC.
